 THE COVER: 

Beautiful Los Angeles #6 Mono Butcher Cover

This is without question one spectacular Los Angeles Beatles Butcher Cover.  We have had some pretty incredible offers in the past, and this one is right there with the best.  This cover could fool a lot of folks as being a first state.  I am supremely confident you will be thrilled with this one!  Your absolute satisfaciton is guaranteed or your money back!  

The colors on this butcher are as bright, crisp, and colorful as if there had never been a slick pasted over the original Queens Litho artwork.   As with virtually all of our butchers, the pictures provided allow you to see the incredible fine dot matrix texture of the original butcher slick that has been exposed.  This only happens with a properly peeled butcher.  Look at the detail on the picture of the Beatles. You can see that finite detail of that dot matrix printing!   THERE ARE NO TOUCH UPS OR FLAWS ON THE BUTCHER COVER IMAGE!  The detail is stunning.  Even the classic LA glue circles are practically invisible on this cover!  They don't all turn out like this one.  I know I have mentioned it before, but I repeat the peel on this one really did turn out fantastic.  HOWEVER - its the entire cover here that is as equally stunning! 

The seams are in perfect physical shape without any splits! Corners are nice and square. The edges are a nice bright white and not yellowed, or marred, by lines left where the old slick covered part of the border.  That often leaves part of the border yellow, and there is none of that on this butcher!  The printing on the spine is clean, clear, and vibrant. The corners are sharp and square, and all of the seams are about as close to original as can be.  Just a tiny spot of balding on the lower right tip might be the only flaw on this cover.

The printing on the back is all there, bold and black, and contrasts very nicely with the bright white of the surrounding cover. The clean and nice white back of this cover is a rare feature not found on many butchers.  Most are yellowed, stained, or have writing.  NOT THIS ONE!   

Although not really a factor in the overall value of this fine butcher, a Yesterday and Today trunk cover slick is included.  It does have a small tear peeling on the left center of the cover.  Would make a great display framed with the butcher and the autographs!  

 Please be aware that every butcher is like a diamond - rarely are two ever remotely alike in all the investment features they offer.   RARELY have we ever had a perfect butcher.  Each cover has its strengths and weaknesses.  I strive to keep the latter at a minimum.  I can tell you butchers of this quality are hard to come by!  THIS IS ONE OF THOSE RARE ONES BY ANYONE'S STANDARDS.

The peel on this butcher was done by the master himself - Jim Hansen at Blue Jay Way Galleries - who is recognized as world's leading butcher artist.  Jim is our exclusive butcher artist, and all of our butchers are done in beautiful detail by him!  You will not find a better peeled butcher anywhere!  He has been peeling butchers since 1971, and has made butcher restoration a true form of art!

THE LP IS A FULL GLOSS VG+ OR BETTER ON THE VINYL WITH NM- RAINBOW LABELS.  LP IS NOT NM, BUT IS WAY ABOVE AVERAGE FOR THIS TITLE. THESE ARE ABOUT AS DIFFICULT TO FIND NM AS THE BUTCHER COVER ITSELF.  THIS IS A NICE ONE INDEED.  LP HAS BEEN CLEANED ON A VPI RECORD CLEANER .  ALSO INCLUDED IS AN  ORIGINAL SCRANTON GREEN CAPITOL 66 INNER SLEEVE MAKING THIS A COMPLETE 1966 CAPITOL RECORDS YESTERDAY AND TODAY BUTCHER PACKAGE.
