ISSUE: LEVY’S ORIOLE PRIVATE RECORDING UNNUMBERED
CONDITION: E+, with Ellington’s Autograph under the label and beautiful Levy’s Sound Studios backing plate (see pics)
COMMENTS: Rare and desirable Duke Ellington item. These discs were given away to customers of Levy’s Record Shop who bought 12 Ellington 78s in one go as a promotion to coincide with his visit to the UK. In the midst of the Depression not many people could afford such luxury and consequently this is a rare record...

PACKING. We professionally pack in custom-made heavy duty boxes - not a pizza box or one picked out of a supermarket trashpile - read our Feedback about our packing! Multiple items are always combined, so the more you buy the cheaper the unit cost for shipping! We live in a remote rural community and only visit the Post Office once or twice a week, so parcels may take slightly longer to arrive.
