Description
Recorded at Contemporary's Studio in Los Angels on March 7, 1957 and released that year, this is the 1st Stereo pressing of Way Out West released by Contemporary Records on the Stereo Records label.
In 1956 Contemporary Records started recording stereo records. Stereo Records was the label Contemporary initially used for this purpose. Vinyl is in VG+ condition and as can be seen in the photos the spindle holes show little use. The runnout Matrix numbers are Side 1 STEREO - LKS 33-D1 and side 2 STEREO - LKS 34-D1 . Later pressing on the Contemporary label bear the matrix numbers LKS 33-D 4, 5 or 6 .Comes with original inner sleeve.
Sleeve has a slight ring wear on upper front barely visible and a signature stamp of back of sleeve upper left hand. Lower left hand corner shows some wear, there are no split seams, cuts, but overall the sleeve is in great shape for it's age.
