Description

SONNY ROLLINS - TOUR DE FORCE – PRESTIGE – 7126 – NYC ADDRESS - M-/M- DG – MONO

Recorded at Van Gelder’s studio on December 7, 1956, this Prestige session features Sonny Rollins on tenor, Kenny Drew on piano, George Morrow on bass, Max Roach on drums and Earl Coleman on vocals. SIDE A: EE – AH and B. QUICK. SIDE B: TWO DIFFERENT WORLDS; B. SWIFT and MY IDEAL. The initials “RVG” are stamped in the blank vinyl on both sides of the record. The address on the LP is “446 W. 50TH ST,. N.Y.C.” The address on the record jacket is “447 west 50th street, new york 19, n. y.” This is a deep groove pressing and a MONO recording.

I’ve graded the vinyl and the record jacket as M- for the following reasons. The vinyl is completely clean on both sides of the LP. There is no sign of wear in or around either side of the spindle hole. The vinyl still has its original shine. The record jacket is in near mint condition, with no real sign of wear. There is some slight discoloration to the liner notes. The LP comes in its original glassine sleeve. If you have any questions, please email me and I will get back to you as soon as possible. Thanks.

PAYMENT & SHIPPING

Satisfaction guaranteed on item. I regret that the USPS has raised their prices. The LP will be well packed. Fully packed in a crush proof box, it weighs 1.8 pounds. Due to increased cost, I have to charge an additional $1.00 for packing in the crush proof box. Believe me, it’s worth it! The method of payment is PayPal. As of October 20, 2008, eBay has decided to make PayPal the only method of payment for this item! This way, eBay has you coming and going! If you are a bidder who prefers to pay by other means, I suggest that you file a complaint! I regret the inconvenience. The LP will be shipped either by Media Rate @ $3.17 or by Priority Mail @ $5.80 and up depending where you reside. Overseas bidders should consider First Class Mail International. The cost to Europe and Asia begins at $20.45 in the crush proof box. It’s worth it! USPS has hammered overseas shipping!
