From Prestige Records (LP 7076) this is SAXOPHONE COLOSSUS by SONNY ROLLINS, an original mono pressing (deep groove & thin edge) in very fine condition.   The jacket shows seams intact and sturdy with spine nicely blocked and printing dead center.  Corners show rubbing and there's a clean, one-inch split top seam at opening.  The front surface is beautiful (see photo) with no outstanding flaws or blemishes; back surface is also quite nice with no major disasters.  Overall, the cover rates a conservative EX, perhaps better.  The original inner sleeve is present and in VG+ condition.  The LP visually grades about EX+ showing a few spindle marks both sides but no scratches on the playing surface.  Two light buffs are present on Side B.  The vinyl retains its original lustre.  The album play-grades about VG+ with long passages of NEAR MINT!  There's almost constant background noise but it's low and barely audible for the most part; there are a few soft clicks and soft pops but neither the surface noise nor the clicks/pops intrude into the music.  There's no distortion even at higher volumes and even in the more dynamic passages.  It plays beautifully with a clear and bright sax, a bass that doesn't pop or thump and in-your-face drums with a cymbal that colors everything silver.  The piano is clean and mixed up front.   Man, does that sax wail!  This was a masterful recording!  I'm trying to find major faults with the sound but just can't.  It plays like a dream!
