Description

SONNY CRISS – ROCKIN’ IN RHYTHM – PRESTIGE 7610 – TEST PRESSING – WHITE LABEL – VG+ STEREO

Recorded at Rudy Van Gelder’s studio on July 2, 1968, this Prestige Stereo session, features Sonny Criss on alto, Eddie Green on piano, Bob Cranshaw on bass and Alan Dawson on drums. Side A: ELEANOR RIGBY; WHEN THE SUN COMES OUT and SONNYMOON FOR TWO. SIDE B: ROCKIN’ IN RHYTHM; MISTY ROSES and THE MASQUERADE IS OVER. This is a “Diskmaster’s” Test Pressing with a white label. The number on the test pressing is 7601 and the actual Prestige number is 7610. All information on the actual LP is handwritten. The name on the LP is “C. Golden”. The LP was sent directly to me from Prestige in Bergenfield, NJ. This is a Stereo recording.

I have rated this LP as VG+ for the following reasons. There are a few scuffs on Side A, which does not interfere with play. Side B is clean. There is no sign of wear on or around the spindle holes. The record cover is in near mint condition. If you have any questions, please email me and I will get back to you as soon as possible. Thanks.
