SONIC'S RENDEZVOUS BAND City Slang Stereo/Mono Orchide OR 1002 1978. Record is in NM condition. Picture sleeve is in VG condition with ring wear. Ultra-rare original pressing of what some consider the rockin’-est five minutes ever committed to vinyl. Indeed, this sucker cooks! Back cover reads: "This is a special preview edition." ........ About this 45 the Detroit Free Press wrote: "This is explosive, powerhouse Detroit rock and roll in the manner of the MC5 or the Stooges. Which isn't too surprising, since former MC5'er Fred (Sonic) Smith heads the group, Smith and Scott Morgan lead the way on stun guitar, while Gary Rasmussen and Scott (Rock Action) Asheton shine on bass and drums, respectively.
