Description
You are bidding on the ultra-rare, out-of-print compilation album Light Into Dark, the first ever appearance of The Smashing Pumpkins on vinyl. This record was released in 1989 on Halo Records. It features two Pumpkins songs you can't get anywhere else: My Dahlia and Sun. The record is in original shrink wrap, but the wrap has been opened on the right side to inspect the contents. The small sticker you see on the front is on the outside of the shrink wrap, so no worries. The record itself is in mint condition. The original booklet is included and has a page featuring the Pumpkins. The original Halo Records response card is also included, encouraging you to vote for your favorite band. The card is even stamped! The jacket is remarkably beautiful, but has slight checking on the corners. The upper-right corner has a one inch diagonal cut. This could indicate one of two things: this copy was originally a promo given away by the record label, or the record was originally a slow seller at retail and was discounted. This is a rare opportunity to own a piece of Pumpkins history.
Buyer pays actual shipping costs. Ships in sturdy cardboard mailer with protective inserts, in heavyweight clear sleeve.
