SLADE COZ I LUV YOU RARE GERMAN COMPILATION ALBUM FROM 1973 LU-XOR GOLD VG PLUS CONDITION
This is a rare German reissue on Luxor Gold from 1973. It is in very good plus condition. It has only been played two or three times in over 40 years. It was loaded with static recently when I brought it down from my loft and I recently had it professionally cleaned. The sound quality is now near excellent. There are a few faint minor clicks which is why I consider it very good plus rather than excellent condition. The sleeve is in VG to excellent condition as well.
Following the initial success in 1971 there was pressure on Polydor to issue a studio album in Europe in early 1972. The response was a compIlation of tracks from Play it Loud plus the a and b sides from their first thee hits, Get down and get with it, Coz I luv you and Look wot you dun.
What makes this album unusual is that it is a reissue of the 1972 album on the Luxor Gold label in 1973 with a significantly different track listing. Gone are Get Down and get with it, Could I, My Life is Natural, Candidate and Gospel according to Rasputin that appeared on the 1972 album and they are replaced by the following further tracks from Play it Loud See us here, One way hotel, I remember Pouk Hill and Dirty Joker.
