Here is a GREAT RARE classic funk/cross over soul LP by The Skull Snaps
GSF-S-1011 ORIGINAL PRESSING gatefold jacket, with the white label with red lettering pressed in the top right edge of jacket reading "This album contains the hit song I'm Your Pimp".
This album is widely known as one of the holy grails of rare funk lps due to its tremendous heavy funk/r&b sound by this already tight band aided by the incredible production of Mr. George Kerr!! Rarely seen in this condition!! Don't sleep on this one!! The jacket is in very good condition with simply light corner bruises and a minor split on the upper side.
A really tight record where more or less all tracks are great. Mainly wanted for the massive breaks of "It's a new day" but one half of the record is packed with hard vocal funk & the rest is just amazing uptempo crossover soul magic. Truly essential to any collection if you have the slightest interest in quality black music.
Record is a VG++ and the sleave in a VG+
