Description
SKID: I Saw Her Standing There/Endless Sleep (Panky Records, BELGIUM 1977)
Totally obscure U.K. glam single that touches on punkrock! The A-side is an extremely raw and trashy cover of the Beatles song with over-the-top Slade-like vocals and a loud fuzz guitar break. The flip "Endless Sleep" is a version of the late 50's million seller by Jody Reynolds and sounds very similiar. Produced by the one-and-only Tommy Scott. This is a rare Belgian PS release, but originally it was supposedly released in the U.K. on the Galaxy label (never seen this though!). This should have been on a Velvet Tinmine-like comp, but isn't.
Strict grading. Record / Sleeve = M-/VG++
