The Baktabak (back to back) record company out of the UK released many interview picture discs over the years. They began a series of several different interview sets, in a pack of four 7" picture discs, and in a jacket that holds all four. They included artists such as Madonna, Kiss, Depeche Mode, Guns N' Roses, The Cure, and more. It's interviews with band members that they collected, then pressed onto a 7" picture disc. A very cool concept!

Up for grabs today is the set for goth greats the Sisters of Mercy! The Sisters of Mercy are one of goth music's pioneers, and pretty much defined goth rock in the 80s. By the 90s, they even found a hard rock edge! Two members from the early days, Craig Adams and Wayne Hussey, left to form The Mission (usually known as The Mission UK here in the States). Another member of the Sisters, Tony James, ended up in Sigue Sigue Sputnik. Patricia Morrison, (from The Gun Club, The Damned, and a few other groups), was only in the Sisters of Mercy for a short time, but when she was, she (along with band leader and founder Andrew Eldritch) became the face of the Sisters of Mercy!

The four pic discs have two sides each. The only pics are of Morrison and Eldritch, and in gothic black and white. I bought this used, but it's in its original jacket, with the four slots for the four records. And a title card on top. The records themselves look pretty good, with only a few light surface marks on them. Any flaws may or may not be audible. (I cannot vouch for the sound quality, as I never play specialty vinyl such as pic discs or colored records.) But they are great collectibles to own, and obviously made during the 80s era of their goth classic album 'Floodland', released in '87.
