    SIMON & GARFUNKEL SOUNDS OF SILENCE LP WHITE LBL PROMO!
Up for auction, with NO RESERVE, is the impossibly rare mono white label promo of the ground-breaking Simon & Garfunkel Lp, "Sounds Of Silence", with the ORIGINAL jacket without the song titles listed on the front cover, the Tiger Beat magazine not airbrushed from the rear cover photos, and with no song titles or timings in the box on the rear cover. It also has the rare promotional timing strip intact on front cover. The vinyl grades VG+ with only light marks, one tiny blemish which can be felt but which does not cause any problems, and the entire LP plays very nicely! The mono mixes of this LP are FAR superior to the stereo mixes and are truly the way this LP was meant to be heard. Moreover, as a white label promo, it is an absolute first pressing with superior fidelity. The Matrix numbers are XLP112378-1C and XLP112379-1C. The snowy white labels are Near Mint with just a few spindle marks, and no writing, stains or other problems. The jacket grades a nice VG+, with all seams nicely intact, some writing on the timing strip and some age wear on the rear and a name written on the rear cover in red ink (about one inch), NO SEAM SPLITS, TAPING, GLUEING, ETC.!
