On offer here is a very rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by Simon & Garfunkel called 'Bookends' and is a 1968 MEGA rare UK 1st pressing on the 1st Press 'Textured' CBS labels!!!! THIS LP IS INCREDIBLY HARD TO FIND AND MASSIVELY RARE IN THIS CONDITION!!!!  BUT WHAT MAKES THIS LP REALLY SPECIAL IS THAT IT IS PRESSED IN MEGA RARE MONO!!!!  THE VAST MAJORITY OF 1ST PRESSINGS WERE MADE IN STEREO - AND MONOS ARE MUCH MUCH RARER!!!!  NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS LP IS IN SUPERB CONDITION - AND IT IS INCREDIBLY HARD TO FIND A MONO 1ST PRESSING OF THIS LP LIKE THIS!!!!  THIS IS THE UK 1968 UK MONO 1ST PRESSING ON THE 1ST PRESS 'TEXTURED' MONO CBS LABELS, A1/B1 MONO MATRIXES, 1ST PRESS INNER SLEEVE, AND 1ST PRESS LAMINATED COVER!!!!  THIS LP IS EXTREMELY HARD TO FIND IN MEGA RARE MONO, AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND IN THIS SUPERB CONDITION - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!! This is an ORIGINAL UK 1st Pressing from 1968 and is in STUNNING condition!!!! The record is pressed on thick quality vinyl. The Cat. No is BPG 63101 on the ORIGINAL 1st Press 'Textured' Orange CBS Labels (see picture) and is a UK 1968 MONO 1st pressing!!!! All the tracks are pure quality Simon & Garfunkel at their best!!!! Any fan of Simon & Garfunkel, or 60s/70s music in general, will want to have this in their collection!!!!

The record labels are in STUNNING condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing, and only a few light spindle marks!!!!  The vinyl is in STUNNING condition!!!! Most of these 60s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, NO hairlines, 1 MEGA light wispy scuffline, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!! ITS AS SIMPLE AS THAT!!!! THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK!!!! It is great to find that the record plays as STUNNINGLY as the visual with NO pops, NO sticking, NO jumps, and barely ANY crackle AT ALL!!!!  The sound quality is simply SUPERB with NO groovewear and NO distortion either!!!!  The record must grade Excellent++ if not better!!!! STUNNING RECORD!!!! Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record also comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press inner sleeve!!!! The 1st Press Laminated Cover is in STUNNING condition!!!!  It has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear, barely ANY creases AT ALL (cover is VERY flat looking), only VERY slight corner wear (NOT through the colour), and NO writing!!!! The opening edge is beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!! Even the unlaminated back is in STUNNING condition with NO writing, NO grubbyness, and NO yellowing!!!!  The cover must grade Excellent+ if not better!!!!  IT IS VERY HARD TO FIND A MONO 1ST PRESSING OF THIS LP IN THIS SUPERB CONDITION - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
