Selling my prog/psych/rock collection! Starting with this lost gem by Simon Finn. Keep watching for more rarities.
If you are reading this you probably know how very rare this unique-sounding record is. Anyway, here’s the details:……it’s one of the rarest UK Acid-Psych-Folk albums to ever be released, because as soon as it was released was immediately withdrawn from sale due to legal reasons. I think there are only 100 copies in existance.
This was Simon Finn’s first record and is at times a weird and very psychedelic record, with several beautiful but also various psychedelic-overemotional songs, accompanied by acoustic guitars, handpercussion, some electric guitars, some keyboards and a few other instruments, some drums, sometimes slightly slipping in rhythm and tonalities in a few tracks, making its own distinctive style. The staggeringly very emotional “Jerusalem” must be heard!
There are no bad surface marks and both sides play well throughout with just some occasional crackle on first tracks (usual for vinyl). The (unlaminated) sleeve is excellent and has an original price label on. Sadly there is no insert but I will include a copy I printed. This rare album will be sent signed for and insured to all areas.
