    SILVER APPLES    "SILVER APPLES"     KAPP KS-3562  STEREO    1968  W/ rare FOLDOUT COLOR INSERT !!!!!!!

 

Hailing from New York City this duo recorded two highly sought after albums of which this is their debut. Aganist all odds it even made the Billboard chart at #193. Early experimentation with electronic music...way pre-Kraftwerk and proably induced from mind altering substances....Totally Unique for its time.  Track titles like "Oscillations". "Lovefingers", "Whirley Bird" and "Dancing Gods'' give a little insight into where these two freaks were coming from...Note: Instructions told listeners to "PLAY TWICE BEFORE LISTENING"     

 

This album was released in a shiny silver cover whose sheen was easily effected by any kind of wear. Photos reflected Heavy  GLARE...as in the case of side two where it loks like you can't read the lyrics....That is not the case

RECORD: VG++   High Gloss, no spindle wear, just a few lite scuffs   otherwise Beautiful

COVER: VG (-)  Pretty good condition considering the type of cover There are two seam splits at top and bottom where the record is slipped in..and the cover has ring wear but..No writings,stains, stickers or other damage
