New & Sealed Audiophile Vinyl Record

Record Label: Sheffield Lab (Test Pressing)

This is an original Sheffield Lab Direct-to-Disk, Limited Edition Audiophile Test Pressing. Only information is that it IS a Test Pressing but no info on the music inside.

These highly collectible test pressings are from the first stamper and sometimes less than 10 exist. Test pressings reflect the closest you can get to the lacquers and hence have a special collectible value.

Sheffield are the pioneers of Direct-To-Disc recording and had much to do with the advent of the "audiophile" label put on recordings that exemplify top standards in recording, mastering and pressing. Long out of print, these original Sheffields are considered to be some of the finest recordings ever produced.

Condition: LP is new and still sealed in it's original shrink-wrap. Generic white cover with a printed insert inside with the album information. Cover is in good shape... corners not 100% sharp, but not dull either.
