SHARKS first water ISLAND LP + Artwork Inner A-3U/B-2U ILPS 9233!
Original UK LP with pinched spine sleeve and the original Artwork printed paper inner sleeve.
Released in 1973 on the ISLAND Label. Catalogue number: ILPS 9233.
MATRIX NUMBERS READ:
A-side: ILPS 9233 A-3U (“RAYS”)
B-side: ILPS 9233 B-2U (DIGGER)
Sleeve: EXCELLENT CONDITION
Clean solid sleeve in EXCELLENT condition:
Displays light partial record sleeve ring wear on the front/back sleeve,
small light edge wear on the bottom edge near the right hand corner.
All spine print is clear and intact and pinched corners are still nicely shaped.
There are no rips/tears, no other edge wear (then already mentioned), no seem splits and no sleeve creases.
Original Artwork printed paper inner sleeve is in EXCELLENT condition,
displays no rips/tears, no seem splits and no large creases.
Record: EXCELLENT CONDITION (*Plays EXCELLENT+)
Labels are NEAR MINT, clean with a few faint light traces of spindle hole marks showing on both sides, indicating barely played.
Playing surfaces/Matrix areas in EXCELLENT condition, full original glossy sheen on both sides,
displaying only a few minor barely visible fine line surface scuffs, which only
appear/show up when angled and viewed closely under a strong bright light.
Record graded visually as EXCELLENT.
*Record plays EXCELLENT+ on both sides both sides, a clean sound throughout with no loud background crackles or clicks.
Downsizing my personal collection: Early Sharks album bought from new, and barely played.
