Description
SHADES OF DEEP PURPLE
One of the original great heavy metal bands of our time.
The Vinyl
Original 1968 1st pressing (MONO), on the very rare, parlophone yellow and black label. PMC 7055
Vinyl stamped XEX689-XEX690
It is in an excellent condition (going by the record collectors grading system).
Only drawback, over the years someone has added their initials to the yellow pound sign. This does not detract from the excellent playing of this brilliant rock bands debut album, for the serious collector.
Inner sleeve
Original EMI paper sleeve, with slight creasing, to be expected with a record of 37 years. Name and address written in ink over the years by a teenage fan.
Cover
Again according to the grading system this is in good condition. Keeping this as factual as possible the rear of the cover has the same name and address written in ink, slight staining and a small hole,10mm x 10mm in the shape of a triangle at the top. This is clearly visible in the photograph, as I am not trying to sell anything by hiding its defects. For a used record of nearly 40 years old I think this is fair wear and tear.
