Very rare original first mono pressing

1968, Columbia – the ultimate FIRST ISSUE format
This is the mono version - far more elusive, with the textured label, on heavyweight vinyl.
Record condition: VG to G. Although this is not a pristine example it’s still a strong one. The depth of sound to this heavy record really is mind blowing. Any blemishes to the record are minor, but one: Baron Saturday contains a noticeable skip – which I hasten to add was there before I owed it! I’m guessing this was made by a mono needle, a common problem with records of this age. Elsewhere there's no other noteworthy pops or clicks, surface sounds are what you'd expect from a record of this age.
Visual record grading: VG. Does have light surface marks and the odd fine hairlines here and there. Side 2 has a more visible line right around a groove, during Baron Saturday as I’ve already mentioned. Aside from this one, all faint marks on the surface are superficial and do not affect the sound quality.

Cover Grade: VG. This is a stunning gatefold format with front and back laminate. Any creasing marks to the laminate are very light, such as towards the spine edge, and there's some small damage to the top left corner, but all these are minor.
Inner Gatefold: EX. The colours of the inside illustration are astonishingly bright. The only blemishes of any real note inside are on the left and right edging, but these are very small.
Back Cover Grade: VG. As with the front, any creasing to the laminate is light.
Paper Sleeve: Original EMI sleeve which is a nice bonus
