Pop incarnate and ferocious political farce, the cult film "Mister Freedom", directed in 1969 by American photographer William Klein, enjoys a highly colourful musical score, concocted by winning duo Serge Gainsbourg/ Michel Colombier.
The breaking point in this exquisite sixties object: the famous jerk No no yes yes" which takes Mister Freedom onto the delights of the dance floor and gives an incredible funk beat to this joyful contestation. Perfectly capturing the colours of Klein's universe, Gainsbourg and Columbier have succeeded in creating a delectable EP, a heady mix of Pop, Art, Comic strip and counterculture.
