Description

Sealed and mint copy of the original 1972 pressing of Paul Peña’s legendary self-titled debut LP on Capitol ST-11005. It could be a green label and it could be a red label copy, but it is the real deal early 70s original. Very rare and now highly prized. Wonderful bluesy/soul/rock singer songwriter based in San Francisco where he got a name for himself opening for Jerry Garcia. Later he wrote that Jet Airliner song that was a hit for Steve Miller, but this is his wonderful debut. And a totally perfect copy. There is a promo punch hole at the top right, which doesn’t go through to the other side, and there is maybe the tiniest, tiniest wear at the lower right corner, but barely at all. Really this is the most perfect original copy you will ever see. Totally fantastic. The best I have ever even seen listed. Amazing.
