Description
This is a very rare PRIVATE PRESS GLAM ROCK single by the UK band SCUD from 1978. AN ORIGINAL, AND A MUST !!!.
The single was pressed through the private SRT pressing plant and is mentioned and was given a high mark for rarity in Mario Panciera's excellent book 45 revolutions - Punk Bible.
This is the band's second single, but is much rarer then the first one, and also comes in a great glossy picture sleeve (the first single came without a p/s).
The sound is GLAM ROCK (not PUNK), but it will still appeal to collectors of private pressings from the late 70's and SRT pressings at that.
The single came out in 1978 on the band's own ROK RECORDS through the SRT pressing plant, catalogue number SRTS / FMR 012 , a rare find and an ORIGINAL pressing !!!
The songs are: DON'T WORRY BABY / CAPTURE YOUR HEART / I WILL / YOU WON'T SEE ME.
This single Comes with the original OVER SIZED GLOSSY PAPER PICTURE SLEEVE which is signed by all members on the front, and The condition of the VINYL is VG++ (Only minor paper scuffs), ORIGINAL OVER SIZE GLOSSY P/S is in VG+ condition, (slight yellowing and minor bends because of size).
This is the first copy of this GLAM ROCK obscurity I have seen in 31 years (and I have seen lots of singles :-) !!!
