Title : Scott 2 Label : Philips Catalogue No : SBL 7840

Matrix : 844210 1Y/1 - 2Y/1 Issue : UK 1st Press & Insert

This is the UK 1st Press of 'Scott 2' by Scott Walker. This press is complete with the original black matt Philips label, the earliest matrix, the original fully laminated sleeve and scarce photo insert.

The record is in Very Good condition. The vinyl has a sensational bright shine, with a few light wispy marks and one mark on Side 2. On playing the sound is warm, rich and very clear with just a little background noise and a couple of pops on the mark. The black Philips label is bold and clean. The silver text is sharp and there is only the slightest spindle wear.

The record is complete with the photo insert insert in Excellent condition.

The laminated sleeve is in Very Good+ condition. The laminate has a superb bright gloss, the image is bold and the text is bright. There is only the slightest edge wear and a little laminate lift. The spine is firm with clear text and the whole sleeve still feels very solid.
