On offer here is a VERY rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by Scarecrow called "Scarecrow" and is an ORIGINAL 1978 UK 1st Pressing on the 1st Press Split Milk label!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!!  THIS IS ONE OF THE ALL TIME RAREST UK PROG PRIVATE PRESSINGS - AND VIRTUALLY NEVER TURNS UP FOR SALE!!!!  JUST TRY AND FIND ANOTHER ONE!!!!  BACK IN 1978 WHEN THIS LP WAS MADE - ONLY 500 COPIES WERE MANUFACTURED, FOR SALE AT GIGS, AND A FEW LIMITED RECORD SHOPS ONLY!!!!  IT WAS NEVER RE-PRESSED OR RE-RELEASED, AND AS A CONSEQUENCE IS NOW ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO LOCATE!!!!  IT IS ALSO 100% COMPLETE WITH ITS ORIGINAL 'WINDOW' STICKER, 'BUMPER' STICKER, AND 'INFORMATION / CREDITS' INSERT!!!!

FACTS ABOUT THIS BAND:-

1) THEY PLAYED AT THE MARQUEE CLUB IN LONDON AT THE SAME TIME AS THE ROLLING STONES

2) PART OF THE BAND EVOLVED OUT OF THE PSYCH BAND SERENDIPITY

3) THIS BAND WAS FORMERLY KNOWN AS 'INFORMATION' - WHO HAD 2 VERY SOUGHT AFTER RELEASES ON THE VERY SOUGHT AFTER 'BEACON' & 'EVOLUTION' LABELS IN 1969 & 1970.

4) THE BANDS NAME WAS CHANGED TO 'SCARECROW' AFTER THE PINK FLOYD TRACK

5) THEY PREVIOUSLY RECORDED A FULL ALBUM IN 1972 WHICH WAS PULLED AT THE LAST MOMENT.

6) THEY FEATURED ON RADIO ONE SESSIONS - AS WELL AS JOHN PEEL'S RADIO SHOW.

NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS LP IS IN GREAT CONDITION OVERALL - AND HAS BARELY BEEN PLAYED AT ALL!!!!  JUST TAKE A LOOK AT THE PICTURES!!!!  THIS IS THE ORIGINAL 1978 UK 1ST PRESSING ON THE 1ST PRESS SPLIT MILK LABEL, 1ST PRESS INNER SLEEVE, 1ST PRESS 'BUMPER' STICKER, 1ST PRESS 'WINDOW' STICKER, 1ST PRESS 'INFORMATION / CREDITS' INSERT, AND 1ST PRESS HUGE 'FOLD-OUT' POSTER COVER!!!!  THE COVER IS ALSO SIGNED BY THE BAND ON THE INSIDE (SEE PICTURES) AND THESE SIGNATURES ARE GUARANTEED 100% GENIUNE!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS AMAZING OPPORTUNITY!!!!  This is the ORIGINAL UK 1st Pressing from 1978 and is in GREAT condition!!!!  The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl.  The Cat. No is SMFM 11278 on the ORIGINAL 1st Press Split Milk Label (see picture) and is a UK Stereo 1st Pressing (there were NO Monos)!!!!

The record labels are in SUPERB condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing, and barely ANY spindle marks AT ALL!!!!  IT IS VERY CLEAR THAT THIS RECORD HAS BARELY BEEN PLAYED AT ALL!!!!  The vinyl is in GREAT condition overall!!!!  Most of these 60s/70s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable.  This one is NOT and has only 1 TINY surface mark, NO scufflines, only 3 or 4 visual (but NON sounding!) bag sweat marks, only 2 or 3 MEGA light hairlines, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!!  THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK!!!!  It is also great to find that the record plays as STUNNINGLY as the visual with NO nasty loud pops, barely ANY clicks, NO sticking, NO jumps, barely ANY crackle AT ALL, and only some EXTREMELY low level background sound on the run on grooves & gaps - NOT in the music AT ALL!!!!  The sound quality is simply SUPERB with NO distortion and NO groovewear either!!!!  The record must MEGA STRICTLY grade Good+ (PROPERLY graded, NOT trashed!) if not better - and plays very VERY well indeed!!!!  Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!!  I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!!  Brillant!!!!  The record comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press inner sleeve which is in BRILLIANT condition!!!!  ALL THE INSERTS ARE IN ABSOLUTELY AWESOME CONDITION - APART FROM A TINY CREASE ON THE CORNER OF 1 STICKER!!!!  The ORIGINAL 1st Press HUGE 'Fold-out' Poster Cover is in BRILLIANT condition!!!!  The cover has NO splits, barely ANY edge wear AT ALL, only VERY slight spinal wear, only slight corner wear, only a VERY few light creases (cover is VERY flat looking!), barely ANY yellowing AT ALL, only 2 or 3 MEGA fainjt 'age traces', NO rubbing, NO sticker marks, and NO writing!!!!  The opening edges are nice and straight with barely ANY feathering AT ALL!!!!  Even the inside of the cover is in SUPERB condition with barely ANY yellowing, NO grubbyness, NO rubbing AT ALL, only 2 or 3 TINY 'age traces', and NO writing!!!!  The cover must grade Very Good++ if not better - and is still very VERY nice indeed!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO LOCATE - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS INCREDIBLE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
