We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback.   We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery.   We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. RARE as an ADVANCED RELEASE PROMOTIONAL that was issued in the mid '70s and even though it was a very popular album, it also went under the radar of many would be fans. In otherwords, it comes recommended to fans of "After The Gold Rush" & "Harvest" ...

In 1977 Neil Young came to Reprise Records with a solo acoustic album. They liked what they heard, but asked if he wouldn't mind adding a backing band. He agreed to it (one of the few instances of Young going along with his record company's suggestions). Neil also found a backing vocalist in a young Nicolette Larson, whose harmonies added a little extra magic. Some of the songs were even given lush backing productions, a rarity for Young.
The end result was Comes A Time. With a pastoral, summery sound, it was the closest he had been to a pure rural sound at the time, and also in many respects his most accessible and radio-friendly record (Young himself has referred to it as one of the albums he is most pleased with).
"Look Out For My Love" and "Lotta Love" were recorded with Crazy Horse in his home studio at an earlier date, and have a rougher edge to them (though even then "Lotta Love" was an upbeat, catchy number, and Nicolette Larson herself got to #8 with a cover of it the same year).
It also featured one cover song (another rare thing for Young), a splendid version of the classic "Four Strong Winds".
"Comes A Time" became his highest-charting album since Harvest (#7 in the US and #4 in Canada), and retrospectively can be called one of his strongest, most consistent works.

The Cover: The lightly textured cover has a promtional sticker and gold promotional stamp on front and song titles sticker on back cover ...making it unique from the normal stock copy. There are few minor issues as in some light handling creases around the edges, hence grade at VG+ ... no split seams, no writing ...remains very hard to find as a pre-release promo from 37+ years ago 

The vinyl: lots of shine, "EX" (excellent) only few meaningless minor top surface inner sleeve paper type scuffs that are of the hard to see variety. Play grades in excellent audio zones which should easily be quite enjoyable. Both Reprise labels are clean
