Description

Original pressing from 1984 on Plan 9 Records (PL9-04) in somewhere between Excellent minus and Very Good plus condition. Danzig's first post-Misfits band is probably closer in spirit to the original horror-punk Misfits than the later Earth AD period thrash. It's an interesting and spooky mix of punk, goth, and some slight metal influences with lots of Danzig's distinctive howling. I regard the standout cuts to be ALL MURDER, ALL GUTS, ALL FUN, HE-WHO-CAN-NOT-BE-NAMED, THE HOWL, and an interesting revised rendition of The Misfits classic, Too Much Horror Business called HORROR BIZ. The record has some noticable surface marks but they in no way affect the sound quality. Special guest guiarist Lyle Preslar from Minor Threat plays additional lead guitar on four of the tracks. Get it in time for Halloween!  Track listing side one: Initium, Samhain, Black Dream, All Murder All Guts All Fun, Macabre, He-Who-Can-Not-Be-Named.
