Description
The record you are viewing is part of a collection acquired through a successful auction bid. The product purchased is from a deceased record store owner whose doors closed circa 1970, having made a run of it during the 60's. An incredibly large volume of LPs remained, many in new (sealed) or pristine condition and properly stored. These will comprise the bulk of offerings I will be posting on eBay. With a vast and well preserved inventory, it will take time to sift through and uncover the many hidden gems that await. My goal is to present these finds to eBay buyers in a timely and systematic manner. I am aware finds of this nature are indeed rare, but the fact is, the records I will be listing have sat undisturbed for over 40 years waiting to be rediscovered, shared and enjoyed. I hope you will find some items you've been wanting and can be part of, what I feel, is an historical find. All items kept in smoke-free, pet-free environment.
Bethlehem flat edge, deep groove, MONO vinyl LP BCP 6008 - released 1956.
EX vinyl retains like new shine and gloss. May have been played once or twice prior based on limited, faint spindle trails. Play test on NAD C555 turntable revealed solid and clean analogue sound with smattering of occasional, barely audible surface. A quality pressing. VG+ laminated cover has light shelf wear, small corner dings and one spine ding. Rear cover has penciled '4.98' at top and some discoloration consistent with age (see photo).
