This is the first edition, "RVG" stamped, Laminated Cover, Deep Groove, P-pressing of SABU's "Palo Congo" on the "47 West 63rd New York 23"  labels of Blue Note BLP 1561. Musicians Evaristo Baro (bass) Ray "Mosquito" Romero, Israel Moises "Quique" Travieso (congas) Arsenio Rodriguez (congas, guitar, vocals) "Sabu" L. Martinez (congas, bongos, vocals) Raul "Caesar" Travieso (congas, vocals) Sarah Baro, Willie Capo (vocals).

VINYL plays with LOW LEVEL surface noise (i.e, static, crackle, ??,????,relative to the volume of the music/instruments), with infrequent pops and ticks. Ensemble sections are very dynamic  and strong, clear, clean and powerful. No Skips. No locked grooves. No distortion. Vinyl surface shows wear. Many hairline marks, a few feelable.  The Deep Groove "47 West 63rd New York 23" labels are generally clean with spindle marks. See photos.

LAMINATED COVER is OK, heavy tape on all sides.  Corners very worn.  Top Seam: split; Spine: spine; Bottom seam: split. Back jacket is clean, with 1" tape on all sides. Please see photos.

This LP was play-tested on a high-end audio system. RECORD CLEANED ON ULTRASONIC AUDIO DESK SYSTEME VINYL PRO CLEANER.
