BLUE NOTE BLP 1561
Extremely Rare original deep groove pressing mono LP
"RVG" and Ear symbol stamped in deadwax
Cover is rough, with gloss coming up along the edges. Spine is split all the way open. Top right split about 8"; bottom right split about 3". No tape, no writing. See photo.
Vinyl shows a plethora of visible surface marks on the faces. Most marks are fully superficial. A few marks I can feel to the touch. There is one long marks on side two that I can feel. However, LP tracks without issue on my turntable. It plays with some audible surface sounds, more noticeable during the quieter passages.
Now with all this said above, I'm listening to this LP right now as I type this and I'm really enjoying it an awful lot.
All in all, this is a great LP at a remarkable starting price.
