PRETTY THINGS S F SORROW FIRST PRESSING ON COLUMBIA SCX 6306 in STEREO.
VERY RARE OUTSTANDING ALBUM IN EXCELLENT CONDITION, RELEASED IN 1968.
Superb Very Sturdy Vinyl, typical of the Sixties Issues. Original Columbia Labels, Made In Gt Britain on base of labels.
Very Early First Pressing Matrix Numbers: Side 1 ; YAX 3738 -1 with G stamper , Side 2 ; YAX 3739 - 1 with G stamper.
Side 1 : S F Sorrow is Born; Bracelets; She Says Good Morning; Private Sorrow; Balloon Is Burning; Death.
Side 2 : Baron Saturday; The Journey; I See You; Well Of Destiny; Trust; Old Man Going; Lonliest Person.
Outstanding Album by one of the greatest but underated British Rock/Blues Bands of the sixties.Recorded and released in 1968, and undoubtedly one of the most important Albums ever. British 60's Psych Rock at its Finest.!!
The record is in excellent condition, The labels are very clean and in excellent condition, there is no writing, no wear or stickers on the labels, Original Condition .
The Vinyl is excellent, Mirror like sheen, free from all but lightest of surface marks, mostly visible only under strong light, Lovely example. Solid 60's Vinyl, the Record plays excellent and the surface of the record is excellent and in lovely condition and is free from all nasty surface marks, scratches and scuffs, some very light background noise in places, noticable on lead ins and quiter tracks, but in no way detracting from overall quality, still gives a superb sound quality. Lovely Nice Rich High Gloss Deep Black Vinyl and Classic Stereo sound. All round Excellent Record in excellent condition.
The Sleeve is the First Issue Fully Outer Laminated Gatefold Sleeve which is in excellent condition. There are No creases, tears, writing, splits, grubby marks, unwanted stickers or rips on the sleeve, or on the record labels. All the outer edges are sharp and totally intact and in excellent order with no signs of any edge wear or creasing. The corners are also in excellent order with no signs of dents or creases. The spine is absolutely rigid and the S F SORROW text on the centre of the spine is totally intact, the opening edges to the sleeve are sharp and crease free.The Inner Gatefold Sleeve is in excellent condition it is very clean and the Phil May art work reflects the front cover design and has all track listings and lyrics printed on the inside. All round excellent condition. Very Rare and Truly Exceptional Album in Excellent condition.
Record comes complete with the EMI 60's Album Promotion paper inner sleeve
