Hard to find Rush 12 inch picture disc LP produced only in The Netherlands “Rush Through Time” (Mercury/PicView 913 0001).
This is a picture disc version of a Rush compilation album released only in Europe. It contains selections from the band’s second, third, fourth and fifth studio albums. It is my understanding that it was produced without the band’s input.
The tracklist is: Fly by Night/Making Memories/Bastille Day/Something For Nothing/Cinderella Man/Anthem/Overture-Temples Of Syrinx/The Twilight Zone/Best I Can/Closer To The Heart/In The End.
As with most picture discs the playback on this is not equal to a standard studio recording and should be considered a Rush collectible rather than for the sound quality. There are a few surface scratches and sleeve scuffs and plays with surface noise but it is visually very attractive. It come in the original die-cut sleeve that shows pictures of seven Rush albums on the back. It has a couple of small tears on the front that are not near any graphics or printing.
