On offer here is the VERY rare LP by Ronnie Ross called 'Cleopatra's Needle'. It features 8 incredible british jazz compositions. It is seriously HARD TO FIND an ORIGINAL first press of this classic LP in such amazing condition as this one is! This is the original 1968 vinyl UK 1st pressing on the Fontana label.
Condition
The record grades visually as near mint condition and has no scratches, no warping and no flaws whatsoever. The record plays as well as it looks, with no sticking, no pops and no hiss. The music remains loud and crystal clear throughout. The sound quality is SUPERB with no distortion and no groovewear either. It has clearly barely been played and looked after extremely well as well as benefiting from having a poly lined inner sleeve, also original.
The record labels are also in excellent condition (see photos) with no writing, no wear and no spindle marks. Like I said it's barely been played.
The sleeve is in excellent ++ condition. The edges all remain nice and straight. The writing on the spine is perfectly clear and bold. There is no shelf wear to any of the edges. The opening edge is just as good with no feathering. The laminated front looks fantastic with no major defects. The unlaminated 'flip-back' sleeve is really white with no signs of wear.
