Description
The misprint is on the vinyl label the title "The Ronettes" is misspelled the ‘Ronnettes’ instead of the ‘Ronettes (correct spelling). Vinyl is VG to VG+ for side 1 and VG+ on side 2. (See track list below) Sleeve is VG+. The pictures are of the record for sale. See detailed ratings below. This is Master "Wall of Sound" guy Phil Spector's original renowned production of " Fabulous Ronettes, Featuring Veronica.
Vinyl Condition: Vinyl is clean with a few small light markings on either side. On side 1, there is a ticking in places, most audible between cuts. The record fidelity is easily dominant. On the VG+ side 2 there is a faint background noise and the visual appearance, as on side 1 is fine.
Cover and label Condition : VG+ with very little corner wear, no wrinkles, front cover left side, the entire side split is neatly covered with white tape that matches the other borders of the record, moderate overall age wear, no other splits, writing etc, very bright white front cover, color photos sharp, like new.. Another oddity is that the front cover, (lower right corner) says "phlp 4006" and the back cover (upper right) says "st- 90721." labels and run-off does confirm the vinyl is stereo. Back side right shows effects of removing fingerprints. Labels are faded in spots.
THE RECORD GRADES THAT WE USE ARE:
SEALED, NM, EX VG+, VG, VG-, and G. I grade strictly under bright light.
SEALED – No apparent warp, shrink totally in tact, no residue under shrink
NM (NEAR MINT) Record must look like new to be graded NM. No scratches, scuffs can be visible, vinyl will have high gloss, no visible spindle hole wear.
An EX (EXCLEELNT) Record will show only slight signs of prior play, may have a very few non-feelable very light scratches or scuffs.
A VG+ (VERY GOOD PLUS) Record is a solid used record that should play well but has more minor visual or playgrade flaws.
A VG (VERY GOOD) record has more numerous and obvious flaws BUT is not at all trashed. It should still play well.
Records graded VG- will have several scratches front and back, not "feelable", could play ok.
A “G” record has several obvious marks and scratches, some may be “feelable” with a fingernail, but there are no skips, and the flaws won't interfere with a decent play probably with some noise.
Covers graded as:
Near Mint- near perfect, no torn shrink, no creases as new
EX Looks almost new, only very minor flaws
VG+ Will show signs of wear- light ring, corner wear, may have small marks, no splits or repaired splits repaired without tape
VG May have some splits, moderately heavy wear shown.
VG- More signs of heavy wear, cover still in tact.
G Cover has several obvious failings not easily fixed.
