This great sounding, barely played 1st UK STEREO pressing of their psychedelic opus dates from this album's initial release in December 1968.

The disc bears 'deep-groove' green & silver Decca labels: TXS.103

Matrix numbers: ZAL-8126-T2-4K & ZAL-8127-T2-4K

Stamper codes: 1/CH & 1/UU

Disc weight: 147g

Housed in an wonderful outer laminated 'Robert Stace' printed cover with a 3-D front panel.

Complete with its original red & white 'smoke' design lined inner-sleeve.

A superb, unblemished set with just a handful of well-aimed light spindle trails to each completely unworn centre hole.

Visual: EXCELLENT +

Both playing surfaces are extremely clean and retain all of their 'as new' deep-gloss finishes where the only visual blemishes is a small non-audible hairline on track 5 of side 1 - otherwise, both surfaces are completely unmarked in strong daylight. Close examination of both sides directly beneath my unforgiving, powerful halogen desk lamp reveal just a sparkling rainbow shine and a few barely visible wispy inner-sleeve removal paper hairlines but no additional visual marks or wear. Both sides of this well looked-after copy lie 100% flat on the turntable when playing.

Play: NEAR MINT

This perfect sounding copy received just a few extremely careful plays on high-end equipment by its one previous audiophile owner. My careful play-check detected not a trace of audible wear of any description throughout, and I am happy and confident to describe the sound as flawless and guarantee that it will not disappoint.

Cover: EXCELLENT +

A superb clean & strong example with an unworn, unscratched laminate & 3D panel with wrinkles or 'thumbnails' anywhere. All corners and edges are clean & sharp and the inside, centre hinge is unsplit and unworn both ends. The only thing preventing a NM grade is a small 3.5cm upper seam split in the rear pocket. The inside of the gatefold is pristine and the spine is unbent and in perfect condition.

Inner-sleeve: NEAR MINT

Apart from a few extremely faint storage wrinkles, this is 'as new'.
