Description

On offer, a rare extremely rare first USA pressing of The Rolling Stones – Hot Rocks on London 2PS 606 / 607.  This is the pressing has the alternate takes of “Brown Sugar” and “Wild Horses”. This pressing was also withdrawn from all record stores after the record company found out that the wrong takes were used for Brown Sugar and Wild Horses.  

The records are both in EX minus condition, there are a couple non-sounding hairlines only. The labels are in EX condition as well, both records only have a coupe spindle marks. The run off area of side four has both the “SHELLY” and the date “11-18-71” inscriptions, indicating that this is the pressing with the alternate takes of  Brown Sugar and Wild Horses. 

The cover is in VG++ condition, there is some ring wear on the front and back, but further there is no writing, no rips or tears or other damage. This record comes with the original London advertising inner sleeves, one is in EX condition, with almost no damage, the other one is in VG minus condition, one side is completely split and there is also a bottom split. The package also includes the original “211 reasons why The Rolling Stones is the world’s greatest rock and roll band” foldout advertising insert and this brochure is in EX condition.

This is an extremely rare Rolling Stones record, which is a real must have for all Rolling Stones collectors! The complete package (alternate takes, original London advertising inner sleeves and the original “211 reasons why The Rolling Stones is the world’s greatest rock and roll band” insert is not offered on a regular basis on eBay  This is the Happy Bidding!
