Description
This is a near mint condition, very rare, white label test pressing Rolling Stones "Everything Is Turning To Gold" 45. It was issued by Specialty Records U.S. for Rolling Stones Records in 1978. Test pressings were made in advance of regular pressings for quality control purposes. They were very selectively distributed to record label V.I.P.s and the artist and their management for approval. Very few were produced and most copies were destroyed. They were never made available to the general public. This single has "Everything Is Turning To Gold" on the a-side.The b-side is blank, no grooves, white label. The white labels have information hand written in red ink. The title is written as "Turning To Gold". There is a date stamp on the a side "Nov. 20 1978". The record comes in a standard white paper sleeve with "Canada" written in blue ink. It has had one owner, a former record company executive who has had it filed away since 1978.
