Description
For sale here is a very rare record from the legendary Studio One in Jamaica. The album is called Rock Steady Ska and features songs by The Heptons, Slim Smith, Ken Parker and more. The record is old and I'm afraid it isn't in the best condition. There are a number of scratches on both sides as I have shown in the photos (click on the thumbnails below to enlarge). I haven't played through the whole record but did quickly go through a few tracks and didn't notice any problems with playback, but there may be jumps or skips that I have missed. The sleeve is also in poor condition. It is very worn around the edges and quite grubby on the front and back. Low starting price due to the poor condition. This is a very rare record that has a high selling price online.

PAYMENT:
PayPal is our preferred method of payment and, for international buyers, the only method we will accept. For UK buyers we also accept cheques and postal orders, made payable to ‘Touchdown Associates’ and sent to Accounts Department, Cash Converters, Unit 22 Castle Road, Kings Norton Business Centre, Birmingham, B30 3HZ. If you intend to mail a cheque or Postal Order please either request an invoice from us or reply to the one we sent. We are not able to accept payment by bank transfer.
Unless otherwise directed, please try to send questions through eBay’s ‘contact seller’ link. Questions will be answered between 9am and 6pm Monday to Saturday.
DISPATCH:
We are happy to ship certain items overseas but only those weighing less than 2kg and worth less than £500. All overseas shipping will be via Royal Mail’s International ‘Signed For’ service. You must ask for a shipping quote before you bid.
Items are usually dispatched within two working days after cleared payment has been received. For cheques this rises to 5 working days after receipt, which is effectively 7 days. Items paid by e-cheque will only be posted once PayPal have notified us that payment has cleared. This process usually takes about 7 days.

COLLECTIONS / RETURNS:
Items can be collected from our office address, which is Cash Converters, Unit 22 Castle Road, Kings Norton Business Centre, Birmingham, B30 3HZ. To arrange collections please e-mail us through eBay. Collections are possible between 10am and 5.30pm Monday to Saturday.
WARRANTY:
Items now come with 6 months warranty unless sold as faulty or for spares/repairs. If an item described as working is found to be faulty or not as described we will usually arrange to have the item collected at our expense. For some smaller items we may ask you to return it to us (address above) using a specific postal service. If you use a more expensive service than the one specified we will refund you only to the amount it would have cost using the specified service. If faulty items cannot be repaired we will issue a full refund.
