Robert Calvert - Captain Lockheed & The Starfighters

(United Artists UAG 29507 UK LP 1974)


This is a UK original LP pressing. It has a matt gatefold sleeve which has embossed lettering & starfighters. It comes with its original custom picture inner sleeve. This is printed on paper & has three die-cut corners. The record is pressed on thick vinyl & has 1st press A-1U/ B-1U matrix stampers. There is no booklet. A great mid 1970's UK Hard-Prog-Rock LP.



Gatefold Sleeve: There is some light or mild rubbing wear to the bottom edge & corner tips. There is some light or mild ringwear. There is some light or mild rubbing wear to the corner tips. The spine is in very nice condition. The text is perfectly legible. VG++ condition

Vinyl: There are some light, mild or very mild sleeve rubs which can be seen under a strong light. The paper inner sleeve has left some light or very mild marks on the vinyl on some areas. There is also a very minor warp. It hardly notices & does not affect playback at all. VG+ condition. The labels are in excellent condition & show light spindle wear only. The picture inner sleeve is in VG+ condition. There is a 6 cm seam split at the centre of the bottom seam only. There is some light to very mild ringwear. I shall place the record in a separate paper inner sleeve. This will protect the original inner sleeve from any damage during transit. 

I have fully play tested this LP. It plays VG+ overall. There is some light, mild or very mild crackle in some quieter places.
