Description

Lovely A-1U/B-1U first pressing copy of on/off Hawkwind frontman Robert Calvert’s first solo album dating from 1974. It’s on United Artists UAG 29507. The cover is the earliest embossed gatefold and comes complete with its stapled-in lyric booklet. This concept album tells the disastrous story of the German air force’s purchase and adaptation of the Lockheed Starfighter aircraft, known as the ‘widowmaker’!  

Sleeve Ex+ In great shape throughout, very light use only. The booklet looks to be NM.
 
Labels Ex+ Very clean. Hardly any spindle traces. Just a couple of age spots.

Inner VG+ Original plain white bag. Light creasing.

Record Visually Ex+/NM, great shine to the vinyl. No marks seen in normal light. Plays Ex throughout, clear and powerful audio and a startling listen at times!
