Description
On offer here is a Near Mint and complete copy of Captain Lockheed and The Starfighters by Robert Calvert, issue on the United Artists label in 1974, catalogue number UAG 29507.
Robert Calvert was for some years a member of Hawkwind, this is classed as a solo album by him but in fact most of Hawkwind play on the album, specifically Dave Brock on Guitar, Lemmy on Bass, Nik Turner on Saxaphones, Del Dettmar on Synthesiser, Simon King on Drums plus Paul Rudolph (Pink Fairies) and Arthur Brown (Kindom Come) and many others.
The embossed gatefold sleeve is in Excellent condition, with the lyric booklet firmly stapled to the inside.
The Silver and Blue inner is also in excellent condition, with some light creasing and a small split to the bottom edge.
The vinyl is in Excellent to Excellent Plus condition with a glossy shine to both sides. Matrix numbers are A1U and B1U indicating a first pressing.
The labels are Near Mint.
The record will be sent outside of it's cover in a polythene sleeve sandwiched between two 12" cardboard stiffeners in a heavy duty record mailer made by Covers 33.
