Description
TITLE/ARTIST: This is another really rare and highly collectible "hot rod" LP on the original, London Label and it is in the STEREO as well. It is entitled "The New Mustang And Other Hot Rod Hits" (with a really neat looking 1964, red Mustang convertible pictured on the front cover), by the little known group called, The Road Runners----a group both discovered and produced by Gary Paxton; and featuring Gary Usher as a group member), from 1964. This is one rare and truly priceless record album if you are a "car buff/hot rod" collector, and it is extremely nice looking and colorful in appearance. This is just one of several "Hot Rod", and related, LPs I have listed in this week's auctions---or will be listing very soon.
LABEL INFO: As I mentioned, it is on the original London Label, PS 381, and is in STEREO (making it even more collectible yet). The label is near mint, with no visible flaws at all. I see virtually no spindle marks around the center hole at all, making me believe it wasn't played very much, if even at all.
VINYL INFO: Likewise, the vinyl is equally as clean and nice----with no visible flaws worthy of a mention at all either---it truly is in "like new" condition, and likewise, doesn't even appear to have been played very much!
JACKET INFO: Finally, the jacket is also in really beautiful condition, with again, nothing much negative to report at all. There are just a couple of very small scuffs in the corner areas of the seams---but, nothing very serious at all in my opinion. Otherwise, this jacket is about as nice as the day it was first purchased---almost flawless like all the rest of this package!! Please check the pics below and see for yourself.
INTERESTING FACTS: You just don't see these early and rare, '60's "hot rod" LP's out there anymore---and espiecally in this kind of condition.
