!!!SEONA DANCING!!!

!! RICKY GERVAIS !!

- and -

!! SOME OTHER DUDE !!

(ultra-rare 12" extended mix!!)

In 1982, in his final year as a student at University College
London, Ricky Gervais and his friend Bill Macrae formed Seona
Dancing, with Macrae writing the songs and playing keyboards
and Gervais writing and singing the lyrics.

After recording a sixteen-song demo tape, they were signed by
London Records which released two of their singles: "More to
Lose" and "Bitter Heart".

The singles failed to break the Top 40 with "More to Lose" charting
at number 117 and "Bitter Heart" at number 79 on the UK Singles
Chart.

After the lacklustre performance of their two singles, the band split
up in 1984.

Gervais went on to have a successful international career as a
comedian and actor, while Macrae has not made any real media
appearance since. -- Wikipedia

Please Note:

There is something that looks like a "scratch" on the inner-groove at the end of the song (in the photos attached).

This is actually a grease-pencil-mark to help the Radio Station Producer set the record up to be recorded on a "cart" (the record wasn't played, just the "cart") so the song would immediately begin as soon as the "cart" was played.

This song was played in "regular-rotation" on this radio station (and yes, it was a "cool station") but the record remained, archived, in its original cellophane, which is where it remains today.

This record was played only that once. That's it.

NM condition and is SERIOUSLY RARE.

THIS RECORD IS "GUARANTEED" - if not completely satisfied simply return in exact same condition within 14 days and all funds returned (minus your own shipping expense).
