This is an unique and important compilation of Wagner's great dramatic work, the Ring Cycle, recorded over eight years (1958 to 1966) in Vienna by (Sir) Georg Solti with the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra and the Vienna State Opera Chorus, on a peerless DECCA recording. This is a truly stunning recording and is much sought after by collectors worldwide.

This boxed Collector's set is complete! The LP’s are in excellent condition. Each opera set comprises up to five LPs, with hardly any sign of playing - needle scratch, spindle use etc., - and is accompanied by a handbook with the libretto, with a further Guide and Introduction to the “The Ring” on a further albums. The wrapping and handbooks have normal usage traces. Inside some handbooks are minimal ballpoint notes (i.e. date of the recording).

This box set is very rare.
