Description
This is part of a large auction featuring R&B, doo-wop and blues singles from several small independent labels of the 1950's/early 60's.
Here's the info on this item:
Release: Red Prysock & His House Rockers - Hardrock / Jump For George
Format: 45 rpm 7" single
Year: 1953
Notes: Dark red label first pressing. Early single on Red Robin, a small label out of New York. The label misspells Prysock's first name as "Reo" instead of "Red". Two early R&B instrumentals on this one. Great sax work and a great bass line.
Vinyl Condition: VG+, Vinyl itself is in great shape with just a few very light scattered hairlines. It plays well and sounds great with no skips/ticks/bumps, hardly any background noise at all. Labels are very nice, with no tears/scuffing/stickers. This is a nice copy overall.
Sleeve Condition: VG, has a blank sleeve that I believe is original. Has some minor wrinkling and a small pencil number. No tears/splits/writing.
All records I sell have been personally cleaned and play tested. Check back in late-January for a rock 'n roll/rockabilly auction and a very cool selection of 78's after that.
I want buying from me to be a good experience for you. I also know that condition can be very subjective, so I encourage you to see pics for exact condition details and ask questions if you need additional information. As always, the item you see is the one you will get. Please see my feedback, I think that will show that I am an accurate and fair grader and make sure my customers are happy.
I will combine shipping for anyone who wins more than one item. If you do need combined shipping, please wait for an invoice before paying.
