HI and thanks for looking.
Up for grabs is one of the rarest of all Beatles singles. Paperback Writer on a UK solid centre 1st pressing with sold in the UK text and Gramophone rim-text.
Popsike records only eight sales in ten years.
I actively searched for thirteen years and hundreds of thousands of physical and virtual Beatles records before finding a copy for my own collection. In over forty years of being a Beatles fan, the only two copies I've seen are the two I own.
When I got the first copy for my collection, I never thought I would see another copy.
Anyway, luck was on my side and when this opportunity arose I agreed to buy it without asking the price.
The Disc is in EX- condition, retaining much of its original shine. There is some evidence of spindle marks, so not a copy that has been kept mint for collectors. Labels are clean and free from graffiti, sticker residue etc. Disc plays with a good strong sound. Contemporary company sleeve supplied.
Please don't look for Record collector grading here. I don't believe in it as I have records that look trashed and sound excellent, and discs that look mint and sound shocking.
Regardless of condition, this may be the only chance to buy this disc for a very long time.
Note that my scanner has left artifacts on the image. The disc is better than it appears here.
I am a serious collector, not a big time dealer who needs to get their money back quickly. So don't bother watching this in the hope of a massive price drop. I keep multiple copies of every Beatles record, so if it doesn't sell I'll put it in the box with its sister copy. I've had it for ages already, so in no rush.
