Description
A rare opportunity to own a rare piece of early UK psychedelic rock. This is the original 1968 pressing on the black & yellow PARLOPHONE label. MONO PMC 7042. Matrix XEX 667-1/ XEX 668-1. I am not a dealer, this is from my private collection and was purchased by me in 1968. It has not been wrapped up and hidden away but was taken to parties in the 60's and played. This is why it has wear and some marks on the vinyl.The starting price reflects this. Reason for sale is twofold. I am downsizing and also have not had a deck to play it on for 15 years so feel that the time has come to let someone else enjoy it. Because I was unsure of the playing quality I gave it to a friend who is an avid collector and he stated thus:
"The record has no jumps or slides but has crackles and scratches that do not lessen the enjoyment of this smashing collection of 60's songs on this album.
The sleeve is in good to v. good condition but has wear The inner sleeve is not original."

Although the album was not a huge success when released it is now generally regarded as one of the finest psychedelic rock albums ever made.
Personnel include KEITH WEST who also had success with 'A Teenage Opera'. STEVE HOWE who went on to play for YES and JOHN 'TWINK' ALDER who went on to play for THE PRETTY THINGS and THE PINK FAIRIES.
