Description
12" Vinyl LP in Rare Collectable Gatefold Sleeve with Lyric Sheet attachment.
Bob Calvert had a tendency to become absorbed in projects and information he encountered along life's path. This generated three notable and highly acclaimed concept albums, this being one such.
"Captain Lockheed and the Starfighters" chronicles post WW2 Germany's attempts to rebuild their Airforce via the Lockheed Corporations F104 Starfighter , aka the Flying Coffin, aka The Widowmaker... (I know, I know, "they don't always crash you know!").
Vinyl and cover in very good condition considering it's over 40 years old. Some very slight age related signs of wear to corners of cover.
Record has been played carefully at time of listing to ensure quality control. Purchased from new and held in my personal record collection since.
I'm proud to admit that whilst I play my vinyl, I've always been almost OCD about looking after it!
