Description
This is an auction of a very rare Beatles - (UK) Great Britain Let it Be "box" version with the outer sleeve, inner book holder, book, but also as I refer to it, it is a "Frankenstein" since includes a US gatefold record cover with early pressing red apple US record. I don't know where the original cover and record went - but they are not with the rest of the package. The book and cover alone are so rare that I am offering the UK/US "Frankenstein" merged version for Beatles collectors anyway - this is the way I got it. Outer sleeve cover is VG+ or so due to wear at corners and some bubbling of laminate in some spots. The insert that holds the book is in VG++ condition - but looks different from one that was recently sold on Ebay - no idea why - possibly this is incomplete. The super rare thick, full color, glossy book is in overall very good condition but there are a few spots of wear on the front and back and at the spine as show in the photo. The US record cover is a gatefold with slight wear on back - staple holes in upper left corner show that it was sold with a tag stapled at one time (some stores did this in 60s and early 70s). The record is in VG++ or better condition with the red apple label.
