Description
This is a never played 7” record from 1959 that was produced by RD Globe Records, Logan, Ohio by Dewey Ringhiser. Jimmy was 16 at the time of the writing, copywriting, and 17 at the time of recording Two Timer. Record had one and only pressing of 5,000 at RCA in Indianapolis, and had very limited distribution in central Ohio. Two Timer has become quite a collector's item since its post on YouTube in 2009 by a California collector,and has been included on several CD albums of “rockabilly best hits” and has become popular in worldwide Rockabilly circles, particularly in Japan, UK, France, Spain, Sweden. England, and Germany. Jim has been inducted into the Rockabilly Hall of Fame as a "Legend" songwriter and performer.
The flip side of Two Timer is My Wish, which is a slow dance ballad (also written by Jim) and was originally considered the lead side with a lovely guitar ride, and is also on YouTube. Record sale comes with certificate of authenticity signed by Jim, a copy of Jim's Hall of Fame certificate, and a signed high school graduation photo from Scioto Valley High of Ostrander Ohio.
